Heide Museum of Modern Art
Heide Museum of Modern Art, or Heide as it is affectionately known, began life in 1934 as the Melbourne home of John and Sunday Reed and has since evolved into one of Australia's most unique destinations for modern and contemporary Australian art. A mere 20 minutes from the centre of the city, Heide boasts fifteen acres of beautiful gardens, three dedicated exhibition spaces, two historic kitchen gardens, a sculpture park and the Heide Store. Centre for Contemporary Photography
Centre for Contemporary Photography is one of Australia's pre-eminent galleries for the exhibition of contemporary photo-based arts, providing a context for the enjoyment, education, understanding and appraisal of contemporary practice. Established in 1986 by the photographic community as a not-for-profit exhibition and resource centre, CCP has played a pivotal role in the support of photo-based arts and public engagement with photography. Buxton Contemporary
Designed by renowned architects Fender Katsalidis, Buxton Contemporary is located in the heart of the Melbourne arts precinct where it provides a creative forum through which the University of Melbourne’s art school engages local, national and international audiences with the best of contemporary Australian and international art. It is the result of a landmark gift to the University of Melbourne by the art collector Michael Buxton, who founded the Michael Buxton Collection with the aim of developing a museum quality collection of contemporary Australian art. The museum uses the Michael Buxton Collection as a foundation and inspiration for exhibitions, performance, research, teaching and publishing. The Lyon Collection is one of the largest and most significant art collections of its type in Australia, and continues to grow with the acquisition of new works by emerging practitioners.
The Housemuseum Galleries are a major expansion of the original Lyon Housemuseum that was established by Corbett and Yueji Lyon in Melbourne, 2009. The Galleries’ exhibitions, programs and events explore how contemporary art, architecture and design address, reflect and shape our communities and our futures. Silo Art Trail
Celebrate the rich heritage of Victoria's Wimmera and Mallee region with a journey along the 200-kilometre Silo Art Trail, soon to become the country's biggest outdoor gallery. Cruise from town to town and witness this innovative art project that sees renowned street artists from Australia and across the globe transform wheat silos into giant works of art. For more than 100 years, Victoria's towering wheat silos have defined the state's rural landscape and when Brisbane street artist Guido Van Helten created his famous 'Farmer Quartet' on the Brim silos in 2015, it captured the imagination of the town and inspired the Silo Art Trail. The Trail brings together internationally recognised street artists - Julia Volchkova, Guido van Helten, Fintan Magee, Matt Adnate, Kaff-eine and Rone - and takes in six of Victoria's smallest towns. Murals in Sheep Hills, Brim, Patchewollock, Lascelles and Rupanyup are already complete, while a new work by Kaff-eine is planned for Rosebery. A unique art project that is still evolving, the Silo Art Trail has already revitalised the towns and brought thousands of new visitors to the region.

Established in 1887, Bendigo Art Gallery is one of the oldest and largest regional galleries in Australia.
